ILLUSTRATION PAGE

Selecting the desired group from 'Group' page will direct the user to 'Illustration' Page.  An illustration page comprises of different sections and features which are explained below.

 

 

To search within a column type the desired text and press 'Enter' or 'Tab' key to activate search. Click the minus sign in first column to remove the search criteria and to go back to original results.

 

 

As shown above an illustration page  comprises of 3 main sections

1. Figure section

2. Parts Section

3. Menu Bar

How to Order Parts From Illustration Page:-

 

1. For Ordering the Parts from illustration page user can select the desired parts using the check boxes in the parts detail section or alternatively user can click the ref no. or the particular part on illustration to select the same. Clicking the part on illustration will also select & highlight the part on right hand side parts grid.

 

 

2. After selecting the desired parts user can click the 'Add to Cart' icon to add the selected parts to shopping cart.

 

3. As a result of step 2 above 'Add to Order' popup window will appear on the screen. By default system will show the quantity by which a given part is used in the assembly (from which user is ordering the parts) but still user has been provided with flexibility to edit the quantity by simply tying the desired quantity in 'ADD QTY' text box.

 

As explained in earlier section 'ADD To Order' window also shows the quantity of parts already added to shopping cart under the column 'Existing Qty' .  

 

How to Select & Order Multiple Parts from Figure Section:-

 

1. From right hand side parts detail section user can select the multiple parts to order at one go by selecting the check boxes similarly from the figure side user can select multiple parts by enabling the multiple part order button.

 

2 Click the multi part ordering icon in the menu bar on figure section.  Clicking the multi part ordering icon will change the icon symbol from "+" to "-"   indicating that the feature is currently active. User can click the icon again to deactivate the same.

 

3 After clicking the multi part ordering button click the left mouse button once on the figure and select an area on the illustration. Press left mouse button for one more time to complete the selection.

 

 

4 As a result of above step all the parts falling within the free hand area selected  by the user will be selected & highlighted in one go and user can click the 'Add To Cart' icon to order all the selected parts.

 

Working with Menu bar options:-


1. Zoom In - Zoom in icon provide the user facility to increase the zoom level of image. The default zoom size of figure on illustration page is controlled by the Intelli Catalogue Administrator. However to increase the zoom size take your mouse over the zoom in icon. Moment you take your mouse over the zoom in icon system shows the current zoom level and the next zoom level figure will get increased to on the click on zoom in icon. for e.g. 50% - 75% indicates that the current zoom level of the image is 50% and on clicking the zoom in icon it will get increase to 70%.

 

2. Zoom Out - Zoom out icon    provides the user facility to decrease the zoom level of image. To decrease the zoom size take your mouse over the zoom out icon.  Moment you take your mouse over the zoom out icon system shows the current zoom level and the next zoom level figure will get decreased to on the click on zoom out icon. for e.g. 75% - 50% indicates that the current zoom level of the image is 75% and on clicking the zoom out icon it will get increase to 50%.

3. Fit Page - Fit page icon provides the user facility to bring the image zoom level to the default size by which it is first loaded. Fit page option is generally used when user has increased the zoom size multiple time by clicking the zoom in icon multiple time but now don't want to click the zoom out icon multiple times. In such cases user can click the fit page icon to restore image to original zoom level.

 

4. Refresh - Refresh icon as the name suggest is used to refresh the different activities done by user on illustration page to start a fresh.

 

5. Magnifier - Sometimes there is a need to magnify only a small area of an intricate assembly to see it in more detail. Magnifier option   provides the user facility to convert the mouse into a magnifying glass using which user can magnify any part of the figure.  User can turn off the feature by clicking the 'Disable Magnifier' icon .

 

 

 

6. Pop up Zoom - Though magnifier option explained above magnifies the image but it doesn't provide the facility to print or save a copy of the magnified area of assembly. Pop up zoom icon provides the user a convenient way to magnify the portion of an assembly with add on facility to save or print the magnified image.

 

To use this option click the popup zoom icon and select the area of figure you want to zoom as shown in figure below.

 

After selecting the desired area with mouse the moment user release the mouse button the magnified view of the selected area will appear in a popup window as shown below. The popup window provides the user facility to save a copy of magnified as pdf or take a printout of the same. Popup window also captures the complete path user has taken to search & arrive at illustration page as shown in image below.

 

6. Toggle view - Toggle view icon provides the user facility to change the default view of illustration page with figure on left hand side and parts details on right hand side to figure on top and parts details at bottom. Clicking the toggle view icon for the first time screen layout will change as shown below. User can drag and drop the splitter control to adjust the screen size between figure and part details.

Clicking the toggle view icon for the first time also changes the toggle view icon to indicating that on clicking it again the layout will change to figure on left hand side and part details on right hand side.

 

 

6. Assembly Navigation bar - The navigation bar control on the illustration page depicts the current assembly and the total assembly within the group. User can click the ">>" icon to go to next assembly / group within the same group without going back to the group page. User can also click ">|" icon to directly go to the last assembly/group within the selected group.

 

Similarly user can click "<<" icon to go back to the previous assembly within the selected group or can click "|<" icon to go to the first assembly within the selected group.

 

7. Non Serviceable Parts- Some times there are a few parts in figure which are only available with original equipment and OEM doesn't supply them separately. Such parts are termed non serviceable parts. NS icon provides the user a convenient way to identify the non serviceable parts in a given assembly. Clicking the NS icon will highlight all the non serviceable parts within a given assembly and if there are no such parts a message confirming the same will appear on screen as shown below.

 

7. Print - Print icon provides the user facility to take a print out of assembly image or assembly parts or both. Click the print icon with or without selecting few parts from the parts grid. Moment user clicks the print icon 'Print View' popup window will appear on the screen as shown below.


Print view window provides 4 options to user to generate a PDF copy or to take a print out of desired parts.

Option 1>> Print This Page - Use this option when you want to Print both the figure as well as the parts details

Option 2 >> Print Illustration - Use this option when you want to Print only the figure and not the part details

Option 3 >> Print Part Detail - Use this option when you want to print only the part details and not the illustration.

Option 4 >> Print Select Parts- Using this option user can print only the selected parts (Parts selected in parts grid on illustration page before clicking the print icon)

 

Select the desired option as per the requirement and then click 'Export To PDF' button to generate a PDF copy of the selected view.

 

 

Note

Any PDF generated through Print View page carries the Mahindra USA name in watermark along with dealer login name and time stamp to prevent unauthorized use of electronic / printed documents.

 

7. Favorites - As explained in 'Select Subgroup' page favorites icon is used to add / remove a group / assembly from the favorites section. User can choose to add the assemblies on which he is regularly placing the order to favorites section. Favorites icon in grey background indicates assembly/group is not yet added to favorites whereas favorites icon with orange background indicates it is added to favorites section.

 

7. Back  - Back icon  is used to go back to the previous page from which user has reached the illustration page. If you have reached the illustration page from 'select group' page clicking the back icon will take you back to the group page whereas if you have reached illustration page from 'Parts search' page clicking the back icon will take you back to the parts search page and so on.

 

8. Column Selector - Column selector icon is used to show or hide the columns from part details grid. By default there are many columns available in part details grid section. If user wants to remove some of those columns he can make use of column selector functionality. Clicking the column selector icon will make the column selector popup window to appear as shown below. Left hand side of the window will show the columns which are currently enabled . Click the minus sign '-" next to column  name to disable the same and click OK. Similarly right hand side show the columns which are not yet enabled. Click the Plus sign "+" next to column name to enable the same and click OK.

 

It is important to note that column selector settings are specific a particular PC and as such user has to redo the same settings if he is accessing Intelli Catalogue on a different machine.

 

 

 

7. Figure Number Search - Figure number search option is generally used when user is familiar with the figure number of the group / illustration and directly wants to jump to that particular figure number. To jump to a particular figure number enter the figure number in the text box and press go button to redirect system to that particular figure number.
